This year Easter happens to fall on my Husbands birthday. Typically Easter is already one of my favorite days, but it is even more special this year! It will be our first birthday that we celebrate together as a married couple, and wow?time is moving so fast. I?can’t even believe that it is almost April. No surprise, my Husband is asking for a puppy for his birthday, or a shopping spree trip to Lowe’s (side note: if anyone knows a good Golden Retriever Breeder in Oklahoma, or surrounding states let me know.) Not sure if I should cave, or enjoy the time of us just being alone, ?for a little longer right?? I think I can handle a shopping spree to Lowe’s in the meantime.
For those of you that don’t know, Logan and I purchased a home and we have spent the last 8 months renovating it. I say we, but really I mean he. Logan has done everything from tearing down a wall and reframing it, scraping our popcorn ceilings, changing all the light fixtures, painting ever wall, piece of trim, and door. He is a basically Chip Gaines from Fixer Upper, so I know his “Lowe’s Shopping Spree” will go to good use. Now, I (JoJo Gaines) get to come in and decorate a blank canvas! And boy have I caught the disease of Spring cleaning and decorating- I am having so much fun. Would you all be interested in a blog post after my home is finished? Comment below, I would love to hear some feedback!
Anyway, back to the Easter dresses- I went a little off track there for a moment! One of my favorite things about Easter, is that all the floral dresses hit the store. There is just something about a good bright spring floral dress that makes me so happy, and something about this floppy hat just made me want to visit the horse races. I think that is something I can convince my husband to do… Have a very Happy Easter, it is never too early to start shopping for the occasion!

Hi Tayler!!! Yes, he sprayed the ceiling and made sure it was wet and then scraped it off! Make sure to test for asbestos first!!!
