In Oklahoma, the warm weather keeps teasing us. I am ready for Spring to come, and stay (and so is my closet). I know that winter clothes are so comfortable, but I am ready for some color! As most of you probably know, I recently just graduated college from Oklahoma State University. After graduating, my wardrobe needed a serious overhaul. It is no longer appropriate to wear XL t-shirts, or tops with cute little cut outs. While they are still fun to wear, its hard to justify purchasing something I can’t wear 5/7 days of the week. For work, my biggest dilemma has been finding clothes that are both appropriate, transitional from day and night, and stylish. But- I have found the solution!!! I have been loading up on oversized button down blouses, that are both comfortable and cute. Then- for a night out with my friends or husband, I just tie it up! My exact blouse, can be purchased here; and my jeans, here.

This is becoming one of my favorite trends. It has enabled me to repurpose some old button downs, that frankly I was tired of wearing! Just tie it up, and you have a whole new shirt! I encourage you to try tying up blouses you already have- but just in case I have attached some of my favorite tie front blouse for this season.?They are perfect for any occasion! As you can tell from the link, my favorite places for a good staple button downs are Madewell and Gap. They never disappoint me, and I promise they will not disappoint you. Hope you all enjoy this trend as much as I do- send me a photo if you try it out!

I am 100% with you on the college tshirt thing. It’s like suddenly it’s not cool to wear my Beta shirt and its like wait what do I do with all of these?! haha love your tip on tying a shirt you already own too. I actually have done that a few times with items I already have but I think I am ready to purchase one pre tied just so I don’t have to tie and re tie about 6 times before I feel like it looks right any more haha I am a mess! I am sure other girls won’t have that issue though, I am just a little slower sometimes 😉 Loved this post.
